Terms & Conditions | Eco Waste Wizards

1. About Us

Eco Waste Wizards provides waste clearance and rubbish removal services across Hertfordshire, London, and additional areas by arrangement.

We operate as a UK sole trader and are a registered Upper Tier Waste Carrier, Broker & Dealer.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are provided based on information supplied by the customer, including photos, descriptions, and access details.

Quotes are confirmed prior to attendance but are based solely on the waste and conditions declared. Final pricing may be reviewed on site if:

  • additional waste is present

  • waste differs in type, weight, or volume

  • waste was concealed or not visible in photos

  • access conditions differ from those described

If pricing needs to be revised, this will be discussed and agreed before work proceeds. We reserve the right to remove only the waste originally quoted for or to decline the job if agreement cannot be reached.

3. Photo-Based Assessments

Photo-based assessments are used to estimate volume, weight, loading time, and disposal costs.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that photos clearly show:

  • all waste to be removed

  • access routes

  • any heavy or dense materials (including rubble, soil, plasterboard)

Failure to provide accurate information may result in repricing, partial removal, or refusal to proceed.

4. Hazardous & Prohibited Waste

We do not remove hazardous or prohibited waste, including but not limited to:

  • asbestos

  • chemicals

  • clinical or medical waste

If hazardous or prohibited waste is discovered on arrival and the job cannot proceed, a call-out and attendance charge may apply to cover time, travel, and operational costs.

5. Access, Parking & External Charges

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe, legal, and reasonable access to the waste.

Any additional costs incurred while carrying out the job — including but not limited to:

  • Congestion Charge

  • ULEZ charges

  • parking fees or permits

  • parking fines incurred due to lack of permits or instructions

may be passed on to the customer where applicable.

6. Subcontracting

Eco Waste Wizards reserves the right to use subcontractors to carry out all or part of the service where required.
All subcontracted work will be completed in line with these Terms & Conditions and UK waste regulations.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Trade or commercial accounts may be considered following an initial period of pay-on-completion work.

8. Cancellations & Abortive Visits

Cancellations made at short notice may be subject to a cancellation or call-out charge, particularly where travel, labour, or disposal arrangements have already been allocated.

Abortive visits caused by inaccurate information, restricted access, or prohibited waste may also incur a charge.

9. Waste Disposal & Compliance

All waste is handled in accordance with UK Duty of Care requirements and transferred only to licensed waste transfer or recycling facilities.

Waste Transfer Notes are available on request.

10. Liability

Eco Waste Wizards will not be held liable for delays, additional costs, or non-performance resulting from factors outside our reasonable control, including inaccurate customer information, access issues, third-party restrictions, or hazardous materials discovered on site.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The version in force at the time of service will apply.
